Biography

Newly-crowned GB4 Team’s Champions Kevin Mills Racing has confirmed American driver Jeremy Fairbairn as the squad’s first signing for its title defence in 2023.

The 18-year-old has already raced with the team in this year’s Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch, taking ninth place in the significantly-shortened two lap final at the Kent circuit, having finished fourth in the heat and fifth in the semi-final.

Before his first experience with the team in October, the Florida resident had proven his talent across a variety of categories in the USA, most recently finishing sixth overall in the 2022 USF Juniors category, where he scooped a special award for the overtaking move of the season.

Before that, he’d also raced in the 2020 F4 United States Championship and the Yacademy Series with three wins and two poles, ahead of his first taste of the Formula Ford Festival last year.

An accomplished karting career saw him take the 2018 SKUSASuperNationals title in the X30 Junior class, and was third overall in the SKUSA Pro Tour in the same category while winning numerous races in USPKS and WKA as well.

Fairbairn now turns his attentions to a first full campaign of European racing, and after feeling an immediate connection with the team, has opted to join the Gloucestershire-based reigning champions, with support from his primary sponsors GearSource.com, Ayrton Lighting and SD Sealants.
