Young Scotsman Harry Burgoyne will return to the GB4 Championship in 2024, switching to reigning champions KMR Sport for his sophomore campaign in the category. 

The now 16-year-old was the youngest contender on last year’s grid, as he moved up to single-seaters for the first time after a glittering karting career, in which he took multiple titles and became the driver with the most podiums in the modern British karting era. 

Burgoyne showed strong improvements as the GB4 season developed, and ended 2023 with his best showing of the year at Donington Park, registering three top-six finishes and his highest points haul of the campaign. 

Despite his inexperience, he claimed 19 top-10 finishes from 20 races across the season and finished equal on points with the fifth-placed driver in the standings. 

He now returns to GB4 for a second campaign, and began a pre-season testing campaign with KMR Sport in November, where he impressed the double champions with consistently strong pace improvements. 

Gloucestershire-based KMR is gunning for more title glory in 2024, having won the team’s championship for the past two years, and adding the driver’s crown with Tom Mills after a dominant campaign in 2023.
