Karter Michael Koh steps up to GB4 with Arden Motorsport

26 March 2026

Singaporean karter Michael Koh will make his first steps into single-seater racing with the Arden Motorsport team in this year’s GB4 Championship.

The 16-year-old has been racing since the age of 12, initially competing in junior karting categories. As he progressed through the ranks, he began accumulating race wins and ended the 2024 season as the vice-champion of the ROK GP Senior Singapore category.

Further demonstrating his ability, he was third in the X30 Asia Senior Championship, before stepping into an F4 testing programme.

Despite a lack of UK circuit experience compared to his rivals on this year’s grid, Koh has shown well in GB4 pre-season testing with the team, and he was inside the top-12 during the first official test at Snetterton.

Koh will be the first Singaporean driver to race in the GB4 Championship, and also the first to compete for the Arden Motorsport team since its inception in 1997. He joins the already confirmed Solenn Amrouche at the Banbury-based squad, which expects to complete its three-driver line-up for the 2026 campaign in the coming days.

Michael Koh: “I’m really excited to be joining Arden Motorsport for the 2026 GB4 season. It’s a great opportunity for me, and I’m grateful to be part of such a strong and experienced team. I’m looking forward to learning a lot, working closely with everyone at Arden, and continuing to develop as a driver. I can’t wait to get the season started and see what we can achieve together.”

Team Principal Garry Horner: “We’re very pleased to have signed Michael for the 2026 GB4 Championship season. He’s shown a lot of potential in karting, and we’re looking forward to working with him and further extracting his ability as he steps up to cars.”
