Multiple karting champion Marcus Luzio will make his first steps into car racing with the GB4 Championship this year, after confirming plans to enter as a privateer.
Driving for his family operated squad under the LUZIO.COM banner, the British contender, who hails from Lichfield in Staffordshire, enters GB4 after a stellar karting career that’s earned him several championship titles.
“We've made a very late call to enter GB4 this year and we're excited to go racing. Our first test will be the opening race weekend at Oulton Park and we know we're going to be in for a very steep learning curve. As privateers, we are also aware that we will not have the experience or the knowledge to compete at the sharp end as we begin our journey, but we aim to increase our competitiveness as we get more familiar with the car and the series.”
