Australian team Evans GP has announced plans to enter the 2023 GB4 Championship with a two-car entry.

The squad has competed in the Formula Regional Asia Championship since 2021, and was one of only four teams to win races in the category earlier this season, the others being European powerhouse teams Prema Racing, R-Ace GP and Hitech GP.
Having achieved multiple race wins and podiums over the last two seasons, the team is now taking the next step in its growth with its GB4 entry.

The team has established a base and entity in the UK, Evans GP Limited, where it will be able to offer full season racing campaigns as well as testing programs to young up-and-coming drivers. Evans GP’s international personnel bring a wealth of winning experience from multiple categories including all levels of single-seaters from F1 to F4, as well as V8 Supercars and others.

“We are excited to be entering GB4 for the upcoming season. As a team we have been watching the championship with interest and it looks to be a great racing environment for talented young drivers wanting to compete at a realistic budget level. The professionalism of the series and how it is promoted is second to none, which is important for drivers and their sponsors."
