Harrison doubles up in session two as rain hits Oulton Park

28 March 2024

Elite Motorsport’s Finn Harrison proved he’s a force to be reckoned with come rain or sunshine this weekend, as he topped the times in a wet second session at Oulton Park.

Having led the way in the drier opening session this morning, the British driver’s session two effort was almost 14 seconds slower that his best so far today, but still enough to put him over 1.7 seconds clear of the field in the second test.

In a twice disrupted session, the chasing pack was headed by Arden’s Leon Wilson, while Branden Templeton moved up to third for Fox Motorsport.

Harry Burgoyne was again the lead contender for KMR Sport, just 0.026s further back from Templeton and a second clear of Harrison’s teammate Alisha Palmowski, who was second quickest this morning.

Callum Baxter moved to sixth for Graham Brunton Racing, a tenth clear of the second KMR entry of Brandon McCaughan, with the second GBR car of Mayer Deonarine in eighth, and a similar distance behind on his first day in GB4 machinery.

Fortec duo Linus Granfors and Dan Hickey completed the second session top-10. The final test of the day is scheduled for 15.40.
