Biography

Age: 16
Nationality: British

The Gloucestershire resident earned big plaudits for his performances in Formula Ford last year, during his first season of racing. The 16-year-old finished fourth overall in the National Formula Ford Championship thanks to a victory at Snetterton and five additional podiums, before massively impressing at the Formula Ford Festival.

Mills was the fastest of 98 drivers in qualifying at the legendary Brands Hatch event, and was very much in contention for overall victory until being wiped out of the running in the final. He also claimed a heat victory a week later at the Walter Hayes Trophy at Silverstone.

Tom now makes the step up to GB4 with his father’s Kevin Mills Racing team, with both team and driver looking to continue their Formula Ford success at a higher level. Mills has already claimed silverware this season, courtesy of a third place at the National Formula Ford season opener at Silverstone a fortnight ago.
