Faris Organji was one of a host of debutants in the GB4 Championship this year, joining the Scorpio Motorsport team for the final four rounds of the season.
The 18-year-old was making his maiden appearances in UK motorsport, having made his car racing bow in the 2025 Saudi Arabian F4 Championship. He admitted that it was a challenge to bridge the gap to his competitors.
“I joined mid-season which obviously isn’t super ideal with little to no testing,” said Organji. “It was a big gap, and I had to adapt super quick to try and catch up.”
Despite having less experience, Organji was pleased with his efforts in the four rounds he contested.
“We managed to be straight on the pace,” he said. “I proved that, despite having less seat time, I could be adaptable as a driver and score some valuable points. Overall, I’m super positive about my four weekends in GB4.”
Organji admitted that more seat time would have helped but was pleased to have “improved in a very short span” with his lack of experience.
“I played with the card I was dealt and didn’t complain,” he said, having improved his finishing positions each round, ending the year with a best result of 16th at Brands Hatch.
It was the season finale at the iconic venue which Organji described as “a rollercoaster circuit” and his season highlight.
“I enjoyed every moment there,” he recalled. “I started to get comfortable with the car, [began] understanding it and scored my best finish.”
By contrast, the Saudi Arabian driver found his first experience in the championship to be the toughest part of his season, as he got to grips with the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 for the first time in a large field of drivers.
“[During the] first weekend in GB4, we managed to do really well in the official testing but then inexperience caught up to me in qualifying and race one,” he reflected. “It was just a tough weekend overall mentally, but it’s the weekend where I learned the most from.”
Organji is yet to confirm his racing plans for 2027, but has his eyes set on a return to UK racing.
“I’m still deciding my plans but am aiming for my first full year of racing,” he said. “Hopefully, I will see you on the GB4 grid.”
