Arden Motorsport, one of the UK’s best-known racing operations, will compete in this year’s GB4 Championship with its protégé Leon Wilson.
Over the past quarter century, the Banbury-based team has established itself as a powerhouse of European single-seater racing, having raced and won in series as diverse as FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, GP2, GP3 and Formula Renault, in addition to domestic campaigns in GB3 and British F4, since its formation as an F3000 squad in 1997.
Current F1 stars Oscar Piastri, Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly are just some of the team’s notable graduates currently plying their trade at the top level of motorsport.
The team has an established race-winning presence in the MSV paddock courtesy of its successful collaborative GB3 effort with VRD Racing, with the squad finishing third in the teams’ standings last year and taking four victories.
