Elite Motorsport was crowned GB4 Teams' Champions for the second successive year, after a late season charge to the top of the standings.
Eddie Ives squad claimed a total of seven wins, 17 podium finishes and nine pole positions from the 21 races, and finished 86 points clear of its opposition at the top of the standings, despite entering the penultimate rounds of the series at Donington Park down in fifth place and 35 points adrift.
However, Fred Green and Donington Park stand-in Yani Stevenheydens won four of the last six races, ensuring the team honours once again went to the Norfolk-based team.
"It’s a fantastic achievement to win the GB4 Teams’ Championship for a second consecutive year and I’m incredibly proud of everyone at Elite Motorsport," Ives commented.
“To have three drivers competing at the front throughout the season and to finish with Fred as runner-up in the Drivers’ Championship, alongside podiums for Matan [Achituv] and Emmilio [Valentino Del Grosso], shows the strength and consistency of the whole team.
“Fred has had an outstanding season, with six wins, seven pole-positions and six fastest laps, and he finished the year with another two wins and three fastest laps at Brands Hatch.
“Matan also finished the season strongly with a superb second-place at Brands while Emmilio continued to show good pace and development throughout the year.
“A huge amount of work goes into achieving a result like this, both at the workshop and at the circuit, so this Teams’ Championship is a reward for everyone involved.
“Winning the Teams’ Championship back-to-back is something we can all be very proud of and it gives us a great platform to build on for next season.”
