Ingram Hill lays down a marker at Brands Hatch GP test day

10 September 2026

Fortec Motorsports' title outsider Thomas Ingram Hill was the quickest driver as the GB4 Championship prepared for this month's season finale on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.

The British driver set his fastest time in the third and final session of today's test on the legendary circuit, with a 1m24.922s lap that was over two tenths of a second clear of the field.

Elite Motorsport's title contender Fred Green was his nearest rival, and topped the second session of the day, but set his best time in the final test, putting him 0.026s ahead of KMR Sport's championship leader Alex O'Grady. The Irishman topped the first session of the day, but like the entire field, set his best time in session three.

Douglas Motorsport's Conor Grant was next up in fourth, just over a tenth of a second clear of Fortec's Franciszek Cegielski, with Pace Performance's Torrin Byrne completing a top-six covered by 0.616s.

Grant's title-outsider teammate Dayton Coulthard was 0.051s behind Byrne and only two thousandths of a second ahead of Hillspeed's Connor Willis.

Another title outsider, Willis' teammate Enzo Hallman was ninth and 0.050s ahead of Elite's Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso, who completed the top-10, which was covered by exactly eight tenths of a second.

Today's test marked the only opportunity for the field to get any running on the epic Grand Prix circuit before the season finale weekend on 26/27 September. O'Grady, Green, Coulthard, Hallman and Ingram Hill remain in title contention ahead of the final three races.
