Conor Grant confirms Winter Series and 2027 GB4 return with Douglas Motorsport

09 October 2026

Irish racer Conor Grant will remain in the GB4 Championship for the 2027 season with Douglas Motorsport, and will lead the team’s charge at next month’s Snetterton Winter Series.

Grant was the runner-up in this year’s GB4 Rookie Title classification, and demonstrated massive progress as the campaign went on.

The 19-year-old entered GB4 with just a handful of single-seater races behind him in the USA, but quickly got to grips with the UK racing scene, taking a breakthrough top-10 finish at the Silverstone season opener.

A first top-six followed at Donington Park, and a breakthrough podium was next, with third place during the return visit to Silverstone. He went one better at Donington Park in September, storming to second place in the event finale as he maintained an upwards trajectory.

Conor also made massive gains in qualifying. After mixing it with the midfield at the start of the season, he was never outside the top-10 for the rest of the campaign, and qualified fifth three times across the Silverstone and Snetterton events in the summer.

With a full season behind him, the Wexford racer will be amongst the favourites for the inaugural four-race Winter Series on 24/25 October, and again for the main season in 2027.

Conor Grant: "2026 has been a season of two halves and I feel like we have only just got going and it's over. I’ve learned so much, had huge highs and a few pretty tough lows but that’s motor racing.

"I have decided to commit to another year on the GB4 grid with Douglas Motorsport so we can continue to work together to maximise my potential and let's face it, we have unfinished business!

"I cannot wait to get back in the car for the Winter Series in Snetterton at the end of the month and start the work preparing for a fantastic 2027."

Team Principal Wayne Douglas: “We’ve really enjoyed working with Conor this season. We knew we were teaming up with a driver that had a lot of potential, and he really demonstrated that this year.

"It was a pleasure to be part of that journey with him, and we have no doubt that he will be well in the mix for podiums and wins at Snetterton later this month. Then, going into next year, all the experience he has gained will make him one of the drivers to beat, and we’re excited to be racing together again for the next 12 months.”
