2024 GB4 Championship runner-up Alisha Palmowski has been crowned as this year's F1 Academy champion.
The British driver finished second in the series' second race of the weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, securing the title with three races still to go this season in one of F1 Academy's most dominant campaigns.
Palmowski's championship glory caps off an exceptional season, which has featured five victories, six pole positions and record-breaking victory margins.
The Red Bull-backed driver was joined by members of Red Bull Racing's F1 squad as she celebrated, including Max Verstappen, Isaac Hadjar and Team Principal Laurent Mekies. Red Bull has even commissioned a range of celebratory merchandise as a result of her triumph.
"We did it guys! It's incredible. I don't know what to say. I'm trying not to cry!" she said afterwards.
"There's so much hard work gone on behind the scenes, not just from myself, but all the people you won't see. They have lived it day and night.
"We have worked so hard as a team, Campos Racing and Red Bull Racing. We have left no stone unturned. I don't want to name names but my engineer Diego has lived this with me every day and night.
"I've learned so much in the last 18 months to two years being with Red Bull. I learned about things I didn't know. I've developed so much, not only as a driver but a person as well. I've matured so much in the last 12 months. It's a dream come true."
Palmowski will start on pole for the final F1 Academy race of the weekend on Sunday evening.
