Amended race four result - Proudford-Nalder penalised, Phillips takes title

25 October 2026

Following the conclusion of round four of the GB4 Winter Series at Snetterton, a Clerk of the Course Decision has been issued which changes the results of the race, and the outcome of the championship title.

The driver of car 8 (George Proudford-Nalder) has been handed a one position penalty for causing a collision.

The Clerk of the Course decision states: “Car 8 was behind Car 21 (Harrison Mackie) as they approached Turn 12 (Murrays) on the last lap of the race.

“Car 8 moved to the left-hand side to attempt an overtake and makes contact with their front wing into the rear left tyre of Car 21.

“This caused Car 8 to damage their front wing and Car 21 to run wide on the exit of the corner. As a result of the contact Car 8 moves past Car 21 and finished in front of them in the result of the race.

“After considering all the evidence available to me, I determine that Car 8 was responsible for the collision and apply a 1 place position penalty.”

Proudford-Nalder was also handed a formal reprimand for causing a separate collision with Mackie at turn four on lap earlier in the race.

The result means Proudford-Nalder moves down to fourth in the final result, and promotes Harrison Mackie to the podium. The loss of points for Proudford-Nalder means that the outcome of the championship title also changes, with Elite Motorsport’s race four winner Jesse Phillips taking the title.

The driver of car 46 (Alexander De Benedittis) was also handed a penalty, of five positions, for causing a collision on the first lap.
