22 October 2026

George Proudford-Nalder topped the times as pre-event testing for the GB4 Winter Series got underway on Thursday morning.

The Australian driver, a multiple British F4 race winner this year, set a 2m02.771s in damp conditions to lead the early running for Douglas Motorsport, with a margin of just over six tenths of a second to the pack behind.

His nearest challenger was reigning Ginetta Junior champion Lewis Goff, who is gearing up for his first single-seater races with KMR Sport this weekend. The British driver was 0.612s away from the more experienced Aussie, and 0.128s ahead of the second Douglas car of Conor Grant, who is a GB4 podium finisher.

Grant was 0.5s ahead of another Ginetta Junior graduate in the form of Elite Motorsport's Harrison Mackie, with his teammate Jesse Phillips next up in fifth.

John O'Donnell completed the Elite trio in sixth, and ahead of Fox Motorsport's karting graduate Rob Crawford.

Series returnee William Rohan was the lead Pace Performance runner in eighth, ahead of Fox Motorsport's Archie Bullard, with Fortec's Qarrar Firhand completing the top-10.

Three more sessions are due to take place today, at 11.35, 14.20 and 16.05 respectively.
