Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing's Luke Hilton topped the times as GB4 pre-event testing got underway at Oulton Park on Thursday.
The 18-year-old British contender recorded a best time of 1m35.577s in the third of four sessions held today, putting him 0.123s clear of Fortec's fellow sophomore contender Thomas Ingram Hill, whose best time came in the same session. Ingram Hill topped the final session of the day, which was cut short after a crash for Scorpio's Archie Davies, who emerged from the car unscathed.
Hillspeed's Enzo Hallman was quickest in the first session of the day, with that lap putting him third on the combined timesheet, 0.023s ahead of KMR Sport's Alex O'Grady, courtesy of his session two-topper before the lunch break.
Fortec's Franciszek Cegielski was the highest Rookie driver in fifth, 0.003s ahead of Elite's championship leader Fred Green.
Torrin Byrne was seventh quickest for Pace Performance, and within half a second of the outright pace, with Hillspeed's Connor Willis eighth.
Douglas Motorsport's Dayton Coulthard was 0.047s behind in ninth, and just six thousandths clear of the second Pace Motorsport car of Josh McLean.
The top-10 was covered by 0.832s, with the the top-12 all within a second of Hilton's pace.
Testing resumes tomorrow (Friday) with two 30-minute sessions.
