French contender Solenn Amrouche will compete for Arden Motorsport in the 2026 GB4 Championship, for her first season of racing in the UK.
The 22-year-old joins GB4 with good experience across a range of sports car, endurance and single-seater categories in recent years.
The daughter of GT champion Lionel Amrouche began karting at the age of 12, following an introduction to the sport by Iron Dames member Karen Gaillard, and become a regional champion four years later.
Her first move into cars followed at the age of 17, and she amassed experience across a broad range of machinery including Mitjet, Fun Cup, Porsche GT3s, Aston Martin and Vortex cars.
With the Vortex SAS team, she became Vice Champion of the Spanish GT Championship’s GPX category alongside her father in 2023, securing multiple class wins and podiums in addition to an outright victory at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
She broadened her endurance racing experience in 2024, competing in 24-hour races at Barcelona, where she was a winner in the GTX category, further full-length contests at Portimao and Dubai, while also entering the Ultimate Cup GT Sprint and the Spanish GT categories.
A switch in discipline came last year, when she entered single-seater competition for the first time, driving first generation Formula Regional machinery in the Ultimate Cup across Europe. She impressed with a podium at Aragon, and earned 13 further top-10 finishes in the 18-race schedule. She was classified fifth in the series’ Rookie class, and seventh overall.
Still maintaining a presence in GT racing, she was second in the GTX class of the 2025 24 Hours of Barcelona, where she also set the fastest lap, and finished third in the 992 division of the Dubai 24 Hours in a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car earlier this year.
Solenn has participated in multiple GB4 test days across the winter, and is the first French driver confirmed to race in the series history. She joins the expanding ranks of female drivers set to challenge for this year’s €50,000 career progression prize towards a potential F1 Academy seat.
Solenn is the 25th driver to confirm their place on this year's GB4 grid, with just under two months to go until the season starts at Silverstone on 25/26 April.
Solenn Amrouche: "I am very proud to be making my debut in GB4 in the United Kingdom and to represent France in this championship. It is an important step in my single-seater progression, and I am really looking forward to starting the season to continue learning and gaining experience. My objective is clearly to fight for the title of top female driver.
"I am also delighted to be joining Arden Motorsport, a team that won this title last season. Their experience and expertise provide me with the ideal environment to develop and perform. We have all the tools to be competitive this year, and I am determined to make the most of this opportunity."
Arden Motorsport Team Principal Garry Horner: "We're delighted to welcome Solenn to the team for this year's GB4 Championship. She’s established a very good career for herself already in endurance racing, but experience in single-seaters will make her a more complete competitor.
"Judging by her results in the Ultimate Cup last year, she's been able to make a strong adaptation, and by working with us in what looks set to be a very competitive GB4 season, she should make further strides forward. As a team, we won the Female Drivers prize with Ava Dobson in 2025, and I think Solenn should be a very strong contender for that with us in 2026."
