Fox Motorsport welcomes South African rookie Enzo Rujugiro to the team’s GB4 Championship line-up for 2026.
The 15-year-old from Johannesburg strengthens the driver roster for the team from Maldon, Essex and will drive the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 car in the seven-round season, which begins at the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit on April 25-26.
Enzo began racing go-karts in South Africa aged eight and quickly progressed through the ranks in mini competition, setting several lap records that still stand and earning the support of Ican Management to help him secure opportunities overseas.
He competed in Italy in 2023 and over the next two seasons raced for the world-renowned CRG, Kart Republic and Alonso Kart DPK teams in the WSK Champions of the Future Series, European and World Championships.
Having spent 2025 testing numerous junior racing cars, Enzo drove a GB4 car for the first time at Snetterton on Monday on what was his debut appearance with Fox. His pre-season programme continues as he prepares to partner Saudi rookie Jasser Iskander during the 2026 campaign.
Fox, who were victorious on their debut GB4 weekend in 2023, have run multiple race winners such as Liam McNeilly and Branden Templeton in the series and are gearing up for a planned three-car line-up again in 2026.
Enzo Rujugiro: “I’m so excited to join Fox Motorsport for my first season in the GB4 Championship and to represent not just the team and myself, but Africa as well. The team at Fox have made me feel so welcome this week and that’s really helped me get used to everything in terms of driving the car. It’s definitely very different to a kart, but I’m already getting the hang of things and that will keep coming as I drive at more and more of the circuits pre-season. I’m looking forward to what’s coming up.”
Paul McNeilly, Team Principal: “We’re delighted to welcome Enzo to Fox Motorsport as we expand to our most international driver line-up ever. He’s coming straight out of karting so naturally there’s plenty to learn at this stage of his development, but we have worked out what we think will be an ideal pre-season programme to make sure he’s comfortable with the car and the team and is where he wants to be by the start of the season. It’s gearing up to be a very exciting year.”
