Hallman doubles up to end day one of Snetterton test on top

13 August 2026

Hillspeed’s Enzo Hallman topped the final two test sessions to lead the opening day of testing at Snetterton on Thursday, ahead of this weekend’s GB4 contests in East Anglia.

Hallman’s best time of 1m48.624s came with just over 10 minutes elapsed in session four, as temperatures soared throughout the day.

The Swede’s best time put him just under a tenth of a second clear of Fortec’s Thomas Ingram Hill, who was quickest in the opening two 30-minute sessions this morning. The Silverstone race winner's session one lap was enough to put him 0.128s ahead of Elite's Fred Green, who also registered his fastest effort in session one.

Douglas Motorsport's Dayton Coulthard saved his best for last and moved up to fourth on the combined timesheets, and seven thousandths of a second clear of Pace Performance's American-Korean contender John O'Donnell.

KMR Sport's Alex O'Grady was sixth overall thanks to his session two lap, with Douglas Motorsport's Conor Grant and the second Pace Performance car of Torrin Byrne seventh and eighth, also courtesy of their session two times.

Elite's Matan Achituv, and Hillspeed's Connor Willis, another to break their win duck at Silverstone, completed the day's top-10 with their session four efforts.

The top-10 on Thursday was covered by 0.784s, with the lead 14 drivers all within a second of Hallman's benchmark.

Testing resumes tomorrow with three further 30-minute sessions at 09.35, 13.15 and 17.00 BST.
