Fox Motorsport has confirmed rookie racer Rob Crawford as the first member of the team’s GB4 Winter Series line-up.
The 18-year-old from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, will spearhead a multi-car entry for the outfit from nearby Maldon, in the four-race series at Snetterton on October 24-25.
Rob first came to the attention of the team in late 2024 after he won Brentwood Karting’s ‘Driver of the Year’ award after taking regular podium finishes in the club’s Super League competition just over a year after he first sat in a go-kart.
That led to a prize test drive in the team’s Ginetta Junior racing car at Snetterton in 2025, which was followed in February of this year by a first outing in a Fox-run GB4 car at the same circuit.
Rob, who is supported by Aspire Estate Agents, has continued to race karts in the intervening period, the teenager winning the 2025 Club 73 youth title and the Brentwood Karting All-Stars Cup.
This year he has represented Slovakia – his mother’s home country – in the Rotax Racing Club International Finals, while also competing in the Club 100 Senior Rotax Southern Sprint Championship, the RyeHouse ProKarting Series and the Brentwood Super League.
Rob is next scheduled to test the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 at Snetterton in September.
The inaugural GB4 Winter Series will take place at the Snetterton 300 circuit on 24/25 October. The two-day event will feature a total of two qualifying sessions and four races, with each day featuring one qualifying and two races.
