Silverstone qualifying starts at 11.25 - how to follow the action

01 August 2026

Qualifying at Silverstone starts at 11.25am UK time, with the field of 29 drivers eager to get their weekends off to the best possible start.

As always, the 15-minute session forms the grid for races one and two, with each driver's quickest times setting the race one grid, and second fastest laps counting towards the race two line-up. Click here to follow live timing for the session.

Fortec Motorsports' Franciszek Cegielski set the fastest lap of the week to end Friday testing at the top of the timing sheets yesterday. The Pole is aiming for his maiden GB4 pole position, having stood on the podium for the first time in the previous round at Donington Park.

The Elite Motorsport duo of Fred Green and Matan Achituv also topped the times in sessions one and two respectively yesterday. Achituv set the second-fastest time of the day, just 0.003s off Cegielski's time.

Green enters the weekend 11 points behind championship leader Alex O'Grady, after losing the championship lead at Donington Park. Green has placed inside the top five at the end of both days of testing, whilst KMR Sport's O'Grady fourth and eighth across the two days respectively.

The top five drivers were covered by just 0.111s yesterday, with Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing's Luke Hilton third quickest, having topped two sessions on Thursday.

Green was fourth with Fortec's Thomas Ingram Hill completing the top five.

Hillspeed's Enzo Hallman and Douglas Motorsport's Dayton Coulthard begin the weekend third and fifth in the championship respectively. They have both ended each day of testing inside the top 10 and can't be ruled out heading into qualifying.

The first race of the weekend is due to commence at 14.40, with live streaming available by clicking here.
