Elite Motorsport's Fred Green was the quickest GB4 driver at Silverstone on Thursday, as testing commenced ahead of the season opener this weekend.
Setting a best time of 2m01.239s on the Grand Prix circuit, the McLaren-affiliated Brit was just over a tenth of a second ahead of KMR Sport's Alex O'Grady, with Hillspeed's Enzo Hallman only 0.034s further back in third.
Thomas Ingram Hill, who set the fastest time in session one, was fourth quickest overall, 0.032s behind Hallman and 0.036s ahead of Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing's Luke Hilton, who topped session two and was fifth fastest overall thanks to that effort.
Dayton Coulthard was the lead Douglas Motorsport runner in sixth, 0.044s in arrears and only just over a quarter of a second second away from top spot.
Charlie Smith, testing a fourth Elite Motorsport car, was seventh quickest and 0.241s ahead of the second Douglas car of Jason Smyth.
F1 Academy driver Payton Westcott was an impressive ninth fastest for Scorpio Motorsport. The American driver won't be racing this weekend, but still showed well during her first taste of GB4 machinery.
Pace Performance's Torrin Byrne completed the top-10, which was covered by 0.845s.
The top-13 drivers were covered by less than a second on the first day at Silverstone, which featured 31 drivers on track, with 29 of those set to race this weekend.
Testing resumes tomorrow with two further sessions at the British Grand Prix venue.
