Ava Dobson secures €50,000 career contribution as top female in GB4

06 October 2025

Arden Motorsport's Ava Dobson has secured a €50,000 career contribution prize from MotorSport Vision after finishing the 2025 GB4 Championship season as the highest scoring female driver.

The prize is to be put towards a seat in next year's F1 Academy series, should she secure a seat in the all-female category in 2026. Dobson has already raced in the series this year, with a wildcard appearance in Miami in May.

The American headed into the Donington Park decider weekend behind Megan Bruce in the standings, and with Bruce missing the event through her own F1 Academy commitments, after being a last-minute call-up to replace an injured driver.

But to claim the prize, Dobson still needed to have the best GB4 weekend of her season so far, and with the pressure on, she delivered just that, with two strong points finishes, and crucially a breakthrough podium in race two, a contest where keeping cool, calm and collected was of vital importance.

As a result, she earned her best event score in GB4, and secured the big prize from MSV Chief Executive Jonathan Palmer as a result.

"Thank you everyone at Arden Motorsport, my family, and all of my supporters for everything this year," Dobson said. "I’m so blessed to have gotten this opportunity with such an amazing team and group of people, I wouldn’t want anything different.

"Being able to get the top female prize in the GB4 Championship and a P3 finish was such a blessing and I'm hopeful for many more to come. Thank you!"
