Elite Motorsport's Ary Bansal held off Hillspeed's Dan Guinchard to claim his second GB4 win of the weekend at Snetterton in race two.
Bansal made a good start from pole to lead the pack, while Guinchard jumped from third to second off the line. Bansal built a good lead of 1.5 seconds by the mid race point, but Guinchard carved into that late on, and finished less than half a second away from the Indian.
Looking to continually apply pressure, the British-Polish contender even fancied a move at Agostini on the final lap, but locked a wheel and had to hold back.
Douglas Motorsport's Luke Hilton meanwhile resisted race-long pressure from the second Elite car of Isaac Phelps to claim a first podium in third, having also passed front-row starter Phelps on the first lap.
The third Elite of Alex Kattoulas also joined in the scrap for the final podium spot, with the trio lapping as one mid race with the Japanese-Green driver ultimately falling a second behind his teammate.
KMR Sport's Alex O'Grady and Fortec's Thomas Ingram Hill had a robust battle for sixth, with O'Grady prevailing despite a bit of contact between the pair early on, with Ingram Hill jumping over the exit kerbs at Nelson during the fight. However, O'Grady was handed a one place penalty post race for the incident, promoting Ingram Hill to sixth.
Douglas Motorsport's Enzo Hallman was eighth for the second race in succession, finishing seven tenths of a second ahead of Graham Brunton Racing's Alex Berg, while Pace Performance's Josh McLean shot up from 14th on the grid, taking advantage of plenty of midfield drama.
Series newcomers Flame Airikkala (Pace) and Dudley Ruddock (Arden) claimed their best results yet in 15th and 17th, with Ruddock doing well to recover from a lap one spin.
The final GB4 race of the weekend is due to commence at 16.20.
