Conor Grant will move up to the GB4 Championship with Douglas Motorsport in 2026, for what will be his first experience of single-seater racing in the UK.
The 18-year-old from County Wexford enjoyed an accomplished karting career with title success in his homeland, and has since competed in a handful of F4 races in the USA.
He began racing on a quad bike on beaches in Ireland, before stepping into professional-standard karting in 2017. Conor won the 2022 TKC National Junior Championship in Cork, and was Motorsport Ireland Senior X30 Champion the following year with nine wins and 12 pole positions.
A move into European competition came next in 2024 with campaigns in the IAME X30 Euro Series and the IAME Benelux Series, while also experiencing single-seaters for the first time in the FEED F4 Academy in France, where he was a semi-finalist against more experienced competition.
His F4 race debut came shortly after, with an entry into the United States Grand Prix-supporting Ligier JS F4 Series round at the Circuit of the Americas, where he was a top-six finisher in front of the F1 paddock.
Further race experience came in the US F4 Championship at the start of this year, with a fifth place finish at NOLA Motorsports Park.
Now he’s preparing for his GB4 debut with Douglas Motorsport, which made an instant impact during its debut GB4 campaign in 2025.
Conor Grant: “GB4 has been on my radar for a long time so following some very successful testing I am delighted to have secured my seat with Douglas Motorsport for the 2026 season. It is a team with real pedigree, and I am ready to make the most of the opportunity. I’m excited for what we can achieve together”
Team Principal Wayne Douglas: “We are pleased to welcome Conor Grant to Douglas Motorsport for the 2026 GB4 Championship. Conor has shown speed during testing and we look forward to supporting him during his first year of single seaters in the UK.”
