06 August 2025

Fortec's Thomas Ingram Hill enjoyed his strongest weekend to date in the GB4 Championship at Silverstone, with his pace further proven by winning the Sunoco Fatest Driver of the Weekend Award at the British Grand Prix venue.

The Young Brit clocked up a fastest race lap of 2m01.386s in Saturday's opening contest, which was unbeaten throughout the rest of the event, as he went on to claim a maiden podium finish.

Ingram Hill's benchmark was just over a tenth of a second quicker than any other race lap posted across the weekend, with his teammate Jack Taylor recording a 2m01.499s in the same contest.

Taylor and Elite's Ary Bansal were the other contenders to post fastest laps across the weekend.

The Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award is presented by GB4's control fuel supplier to the driver who sets the fastest race lap at each race event.

Five different drivers have now scooped the prize this year, with Bansal and teammate Alex Kattoulas fastest at Donington Park and Silverstone, while Callum Baxter (Graham Brunton Racing) and Hillspeed's championship leader Dan Guinchard have also won the award so far.
