Jack Taylor, Arjen Kräling and Leon Wilson were the top-three drivers in qualifying at Snetterton on Saturday morning. Here's how each driver reacted at the end of the session.

Double pole, Jack Taylor, Fortec Motorsport:

“Obviously I’m very happy, I knew I was on the path to pole but to actually get it, I’m very happy.

“All the teams have now converged with similar set ups, but I think we’ve caught up on set ups and we’re all improving as well. It’s a mix of both and things are going well.

“I got my first podium here last year and another one this year, and hopefully I can get some more this weekend now.

“It’s going to be very exciting at the start, probably a bit nerve wracking too, but I’m excited.”

Second, Arjen Kräling, Douglas Motorsport:

“Yeah it was hard, the qualifying also really short so the tyres you need temperature quite early and we have only four laps I think. It’s hard to get the fastest lap as there are good drivers here in GB4.

“The difference between GB4 and F4 is not really big, the traction is a bit better so just one or two sessions to adapt is enough.

“I expect also to do good things [in the race] but looking forward for a good start and the rest we can’t really control – just the speed and overtakes!”

Third, Leon Wilson, Arden Motorsport:

“We should have been on pole really. It was my fault. The car has been perfect all weekend. The team’s done a really good job. It was a bit of a struggle through the first day with setup but the track came to us in the end so the car has been perfect.

“But it was just me not putting the lap together and a few little mistakes. We came in and knew what we had to do. We’ve had the pace all year but we just haven’t shown it so hopefully this race we can do what we did at Snetterton gain but in race one and race two.

“We can win both races. It’s looking wet tomorrow as well and I like the wet quite a lot so we’ll see what that brings.”
