GB4 contender Ava Dobson will make a wildcard appearance in this weekend's F1 Academy rounds in Miami.
The American driver, who first contested GB4 last year, has made a strong start to the 2025 campaign with Arden Motorsport, with a top-10 finish secured at Donington Park.
Dobson, who hails from Milwaukee, will race with Hitech at this weekend's event at the Miami International Autodrome, in a specially liveried Morgan Stanley car.
Ava will become the sixth driver with GB4 experience to race in F1 Academy. 2022 GB4 contenders Megan Gilkes, Jess Edgar and Chloe Grant contested the inaugural season in 2023, while Logan Hannah and Alisha Palmowski made wildcard appearances last year.
Palmowski is now a Red Bull-supported driver in the series, and won at Shanghai at the start of this campaign. Edgar was also a race winner in 2023.
There are two F1 Academy races for Dobson to look forward to this weekend, with the first one coming on Saturday at 14.55 local time, 19.55 UK.
