Daniel Guinchard, Jason Pribyl and Leandro Juncos were the top-three drivers in the final race of the weekend at Silverstone. Here's how each driver reacted at the end of the contest.
Winner, Daniel Guinchard, Hillspeed
“It was really good, the pace was very strong and I knew we had a good chance from the start. I got a really clean getaway and got into second, then just waited for a few mistakes from Jason who drove a really good race. I got into the lead, settled in and thought 'you know, maybe it’s not going to be too bad' and then the safety car came out just to make things more interesting. Overall I'm really happy, the safety car restart was really strong and overall very happy with the result.
"In these cars it does take a lot of patience as they’re not the easiest to overtake and when any opportunity arises you have to be right on the ball.”
Second, Jason Pribyl, ADM:
“It feels great, it’s a feeling I want to get used to. It’s been great to have everyone at ADM around me taking care of me for more than just this season, probably about a year now. They’ve made me feel at home while racing in the UK.
"Obviously the race went well, the start was incredible, just got off the line so well, we made a mistake coming out of Club and that kerb just gets you, it throws your rear end out. I was glad to keep it on track and unfortunately lost the position.”
Third, Leandro Juncos, Hillspeed:
“It was mega. The car was amazing, Hillspeed did a great job, we’ve been working at it all weekend and to get a double podium is huge for us.
"It’s a lot of craziness to kind of survive the first lap and then see where you land and then just manage the race from there. I think without the safety car we would have got at least second definitely. The car, we’re just working at it and I think we made a lot of good steps and moving forward we can take a lot of stuff from here to the next race.”
