GB4 race 3: Guinchard fights past Pribyl for Silverstone finale victory

27 April 2025

Hillspeed’s Dan Guinchard claimed his first GB4 Championship victory with a strong drive in the final contest at Silverstone.

After a quick start from second on the grid, ADM’s Jason Pribyl led the early stages of the race, but Guinchard from third also made a rapid getaway to move into second.

Pribyl held firm at the front for three laps, but the tiniest error at Club on lap four was all Guinchard needed to power into the lead.

From there, he established a small gap, but had to rebuild after a late safety car caused by a tangle between Isaac Phelps and Jack Taylor.

The race resumed with two minutes on the clock, and Guinchard kept his nose clean to take the flag a second clear after a solid restart.

Pribyl came home in second, followed by Leandro Juncos who rounded out the podium positions in third. Elite Motorsport's Ary Bansal had a strong race to move up from ninth on the grid to finish in fourth, while pole sitter Callum Baxter finished in fifth for Graham Brunton Racing.

Fortec's Thomas Ingram Hill came across the line in sixth followed by Mayer Deonarine. Dayton Coulthard finished in seventh, but the Douglas Motorsport driver made contact with Elite's Alex Kattoulas at Luffield on the final lap, knocking the latter out the top-10.

KMR's Alex O'Grady came home in ninth with the Arden Motorsport car of Leon Wilson crossing the line in tenth.

Daniel Guinchard leaves Silverstone as the championship leader after his victory in race three.
