Alex Kattoulas, Ary Bansal and Jack Taylor were the top-three finishers in the first GB4 race of the weekend at Silverstone. Here's how each driver reacted at the end of the contest.
Winner, Alex Kattoulas, Elite Motorsport:
“I got pretty bad wheelspin off the line, going three-wide into turn one was interesting, but I made the most of it. I just got in the lead, put my head down and kept going so I'm really happy.
"All three of us [in the Elite team] are really good drivers, we’re just working together, bouncing off each other and just kept getting faster and faster together. It’s a great team, the people behind it, the drivers, everyone is doing a good job this year so I’m happy to be a part of it."
Second, Ary Bansal, Elite Motorsport:
“I guess it was good, I couldn’t quite keep up with my teammate but the start was good and P4 to P2 is not bad. It’s a fun car to drive, and I’ve got used to it.
"Hopefully tomorrow we can have more of the same, maybe better, let’s see. I'll need a slightly better start I think.”
Third, Jack Taylor, Fortec Motorsports:
"I didn’t see him [Isaac Phelps] as significantly alongside me, so I think I’ll be fine [with any post race penalties] I don’t see him coming up so I think I’ll be fine.
"I think we’ll have a bit more pace tomorrow than today. A lot of people went on used tyres so it was good I got a few places at the start when the tyres were coming in but then at the end we dropped off the pace a little bit, so tomorrow I think it should be the other way around. I should be able to capitalise on the pace at the end."
