Elite Motorsport's Isaac Phelps topped all three Thursday sessions on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit as the Donington Park race-winner started his GB4 weekend preparations in ideal fashion.
Elite locked out the top three positions, with Phelps' best time from session two putting him just 0.064s clear of teammate Ary Bansal, with Eddie Ives' third car of Alex Kattoulas 0.047s further back in third.
Arden Motorsport's Leon Wilson was Elite's nearest challenger in fourth courtesy of his session three effort, and a couple of tenths ahead of Hillspeed's championship leader Daniel Guinchard.
Fortec's Thomas Ingram Hill was sixth quickest thanks to his session two lap, 0.044s ahead of Douglas Motorsport's Luke Hilton, with the second Fortec machine of Jack Taylor eighth.
KMR Sport's Alex O'Grady in ninth was the final driver within a second of Phelps' outright pace, with the third Fortec of Luca Magnussen completing the top-10.
A total of 24 drivers participated in today's test at the home of the British Grand Prix, with two further tests to come tomorrow ahead of the second event of the GB4 campaign.
