Liam McNeilly returned to the GB4 Championship at Donington Park last weekend, and continued where he left off with strong results and pace.
The British driver, who finished third overall in GB4 last year, has since graduated into the USF Juniors category in America where he is already a race winner.
Having built up his speed in pre-event testing and in qualifying, his one off GB4 return ended with him winning the round's Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award.
McNeilly set the fastest race lap of the weekend in the first contest, which was held in superior weather conditions to the rest of the event. His lap of 1m28.551s was around three tenths quicker than the rest of the pack, on his way to the podium.
McNeilly is the third different winner of the prize this year, with KMR Sport's Harry Burgoyne and Fortec's Linus Granfors taking it at Oulton Park and Silverstone respectively.
