Branden Templeton, Callum Baxter and Alisha Palmowski were the top-three finishers in the final race of the weekend at Donington Park. Here's how each driver reacted at the end of the contest.
Winner, Branden Templeton, Fox Motorsport:
"It feels amazing, especially after such a hard weekend with incidents in both races. It feels even better after that.
"I had my eyes set, as soon as I got past turn one and there was only one car ahead of me, and as soon as I got ahead I just managed the gap and came out first.
"We'd had no luck at all this weekend but something good has come out of the bad, so it's great."
Second, Callum Baxter, Graham Brunton Racing:
"I'm really happy. Starting the weekend off with qualifying I wasn't super happy with where I qualified. Then in race one and two I felt like each race got better and I was able to execute in this race, so I'm really happy.
"It was awesome to be battling with Mayer [Deonarine] at the front too!"
Third, Alisha Palmowski, Elite Motorsport:
"I'm buzzing, it's the best end to the weekend we could have hoped for. We needed that result, both myself and the team for our mental health after this weekend! But I'm buzzing, it's the most I could have hoped for. I made a little mistake when I was going for Callum so we lost a bit of time there. A few more minutes or laps and we might have been able to challenge for second but overall it's great championship points and I'm just happy to be on the podium.
"We didn't really know what we were going to get ahead of the race. It actually said a 50% chance of rain at the start time, so there was a big discussion within the team about whether we should go for wets in case it rained during the race. But I was scanning the circuit on the green flag lap to see if there were any wet patches, where they were and what the grip was, where to place the car, where not to. I managed to do that quite well and had a good opening lap, it was one of the best starts I've had. There are positives to take away and it'll be a better journey home now than we thought it would be five hours ago!"
