Elite Motorsport’s Alisha Palmowski set the fastest lap of GB4 testing this week at Oulton Park so far, with a 1m36.361s in the opening Friday session at the Cheshire circuit this morning.
The British driver was six tenths clear of the field in the 30-minute session, with Fortec Motorsports’ Linus Granfors her nearest challenger.
Granfors was a quarter of a second clear of yesterday’s pace-setter, Palmowski’s teammate Finn Harrison, with KMR Sport’s Harry Burgoyne just 0.055s further back in fourth.
Arden’s Leon Wilson continued his promising pre-event preparations in fifth, just under three tenths of a second ahead of the second KMR Sport car of Irishman Brandon McCaughan.
Fortec’s Jack Taylor was seventh, 0.056s away from McCaughan and a tenth ahead of Fox Motorsport’s Branden Templeton.
Callum Baxter (Graham Brunton Racing) and Dan Hickey (Fortec) completed the top-10.
The final GB4 Championship test session of the week is due to commence at 14.55.
