Elite Motorsport’s Alisha Palmowski claimed her second victory of the season with a battling drive in GB4 race two at Snetterton.
The British driver started from pole, but made a slow start and was passed by KMR Sport’s Harry Burgoyne and Fortec’s Linus Granfors on the first lap.
But a drama for Granfors immediately promoted Palmowski back up to second, and she then closed the gap to the leading Burgoyne.
After running in his slipstream for several laps, she capitalised on a small mistake for Burgoyne exiting Palmer on lap eight to take the lead seconds later at Agostini.
From there she pulled out a gap of 1.7 seconds to add victory at Snetterton to her Oulton Park triumph at the season opener.
Burgoyne had to settle for second, having headed a five car train for the lead for much of the contest, and stayed just clear of teammate and race one winner Lucas Blakeley, who threatened on the final lap, but settled for third on his comeback weekend.
Championship leader Granfors was fourth after his early drama, with the second Elite car of Finn Harrison also close by to take fifth.
Arden's Leon Wilson took sixth, half a second clear of Fox Motorsport's Branden Templeton, with Chloe Grant (KMR), and Fortec duo Jack Taylor and Dan Hickey completing the top-10.
The final race of the weekend, the full reverse grid contest, is due to commence at 17.35.
