KMR Sport’s early championship leader Harry Burgoyne not only left Oulton Park with his first three podiums in GB4, but also demonstrated his speed with by winning the Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award.
The Scotsman’s best lap came in the first race of the weekend on Saturday, when conditions were at their best.
His effort of 1m36.133s was closely matched though, with four other drivers lapping within a tenth of a second of him, another indication of how close this year’s title battle is shaping up to be.
Arden Motorsport’s Leon Wilson was the other driver to set fastest laps across the weekend, with both of his efforts coming in wet conditions on Monday.
"It’s been really good this weekend, over the whole the weekend has been really good for me” Burgoyne said. “If it wasn’t for KMR Sport, I don’t think I’d be able to do it. I’m really excited for Silverstone and the next rounds."
