Mills increases George Russell Pole Position Cup tally

12 September 2023

Having already taken an unassailable lead in the George Russell Pole Position Cup, Tom Mills further added to his tally in the standings at Brands Hatch.

KMR Sport’s newly crowned GB4 champion added two more poles to his name last weekend, meaning he now has nine so far in 2023, with two more still up for grabs at Donington Park. In all, he’s taken four pole doubles from the six qualifying sessions so far.

Cooper Webster claimed a double of his own at Snetterton, while Colin Queen has one pole to his name so far.

Each pole is worth £125 in prize money in addition to a trophy, meaning Mills has earned £1,125 for his pole positions, and will claim the £1,000 end of year prize at the end of the season. His KMR Sport team will also take home the David Poole-Warren Pole Position Cup and their own £1,000 prize at the Donington Park season finale.

George Russell Pole Position Cup standings:
1. Tom Mills, KMR Sport, 9 poles
2. Cooper Webster, Evans GP, 2 poles
