Racing at Silverstone on Saturday has been abandoned due to poor weather conditions, meaning that the first GB4 race of the weekend will not take place today. MSV will explore options to stage the race at a later date, with details to be confirmed in due course.
Rain had affected most the day at Silverstone, but non-stop rainfall since mid-afternoon forced the cancellation of British GT qualifying, and with the 6pm curfew approaching and no sign of improvement, the remainder of the day's schedule was abandoned.
Racing will resume tomorrow based on the original schedule, meaning race two and race three will still take place with their original grid line-ups.
