Evans GP’s Cooper Webster enjoyed his best weekend yet in the GB4 Championship, as the Australian netted two wins, two pole positions and a podium at Snetterton.
Webster also underlined his pace by claiming his first Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award, for the fastest race lap across the three contests.
The Australian’s best time of 1m47.081s came in the first race, and was a colossal 2.3 seconds faster than the previous Snetterton GB4 lap record! Webster completed a clean sweep of fastest laps across the weekend too, having also set the fastest time in races two and three, where he carved through the field for his second victory.
Webster is the third different driver to claim the prize, with Liam McNeilly the winner at Oulton Park, and Tom Mills at both Silverstone and Donington Park.
“Our speed was insane this round” said Webster. “Pole position by 0.38 and smashed the lap record by a margin!
