Fortec Motorsport’s Colin Queen topped the times in the first session of the day at Snetterton.
The American’s time of 1m47.806s came with his final flying effort, and put him just under two tenths of a second ahead of Evans GP’s Thursday pace setter Cooper Webster.
Queen’s teammate Ruhaan Alva was third fastest, and 0.030s ahead of Fox Motorsport’s Liam McNeilly, with the top-four covered by just over half a second.
Graham Brunton Racing’s Harry Burgoyne Jnr continued his strong start to the event at Snetterton with the fifth quickest time, 0.116s clear of the second Fox Motorsport car of Sid Smith.
KMR Sport’s testing runner Lucas Blakeley moved into the top-seven, a tenth further away from Smith and half a second clear of the second Graham Brunton Racing entry of Jeremy Fairbairn.
KMR’s Jack Clifford was a quarter of a second further back and a tenth clear of reigning champion Nikolas Taylor, who substituted for Aditya Kulkarni in the #15 Fortec, with the Indian driver sitting an exam this morning.
Times this morning were around six tenths of a second away from yesterday’s outright pace, with the final session of the week due to commence at 15.45.
