KMR Sport’s championship leader Tom Mills set the fastest ever GB4 lap around Snetterton in the final session of the week this afternoon (Friday).
The 18-year-old, who missed this morning’s running due to exam commitments, recorded a time of 1m46.996s, a full 1.5 seconds faster than last year’s pole time.
Mills was just 0.027s clear of Evans GP’s Cooper Webster however, who was fastest overall on Thursday.
Fortec’s Colin Queen ensured it was a tight top-three, with the American only 0.075s further back.
Ruhaan Alva ensured two Fortec’s were inside the top-four, and was 0.295s clear of Fox Motorsport’s Liam McNeilly in fifth.
The third Fortec car of Aditya Kulkarni completed the top-six, ahead of the second Fox machine of Sid Smith.
KMR Sport’s Lucas Blakeley was eighth quickest and within 1.5 seconds of teammate Mills in just his second day of slicks and wings action.
Graham Brunton Racing duo Harry Burgoyne Jnr and Jeremy Fairbairn completed the session two top-10.
All 15 drivers testing today recorded their best times in the final session. GB4 action resumes tomorrow with qualifying at 12.10.
