Graham Brunton Racing’s Chloe Grant and Logan Hannah will put on a show in their GB4 cars at the Sir Jackie Stewart Classic on 18-19 June.
The major new event at Thirlestane Castle, south of Edinburgh, will showcase the career of the three-time F1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, and will feature live motorsport action in the form of a sprint competition, as well as an award-winning classic car show, in aid of Stewart’s Race Against Dementia charity.
Laser Tools-backed GB4 contenders Grant and Hannah will both be in action at the wheel of their Tatuus F4-T014 cars, which will also be on display throughout the two-day festival. The duo will hurtle up the castle’s narrow driveway track, with other cars taking part including contemporary, classic and vintage sports cars, and even F1 contenders.
Stewart himself will also be in action on the driveway in his 1969 championship-winning Matra, while the Red Bull F1 team will put on a demonstration with Mark Webber’s victorious RB8 from the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix.
Grant said: “The Sir Jackie Stewart Classic is a great opportunity to showcase Scottish motorsports and get up close and personal with some of the greatest cars ever made. I am really proud to be joining the sprint in such an amazing location and all for such a great cause.”
Hannah added: “I’m really looking forward to being at the Sir Jackie Stewart Classic on the 18th and 19th.
“The opportunity that myself and Chloe have been given to be a part of the event and being one of the attractions throughout the weekend is fantastic! It is going to be a great event and I can’t wait to get started!”
Other cars on display include Stewart’s Tyrrell 003 and 006 machines that powered him to his second and third titles in 1971 and 1973 as well as an extensive range of memorabilia and trophies from Stewart’s extraordinary career.
Fans at the event can also enjoy an action arena with stunt shows, a retail village, food and drink areas, kids’ activities and an education zone.
