Leading sports car teams Hart GT and In2Racing both intend to join the grid for GB4’s inaugural season next year.
Their addition means a total of ten teams are already planning to field drivers in 2022.
Hart GT is owned and operated by Nick Hart and has enjoyed success across a range of disciplines from karting all the way up to GT racing and prototypes.
The Sheffield-based outfit has recently raced in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup and in Radicals, while its karting operation is well known for producing outstanding young talent including BTCC front-runner Tom Ingram.
Nick Dudfield’s In2Racing team has also confirmed its intention to add GB4 to its growing roster of championships for 2022. The Stratford-upon-Avon based squad was founded in the late 1980s, initially in karting before expanding into car racing.
Recent accomplishments including winning the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB Championship, and race victories in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Porsche Club Championship.
Several other teams and privateer entrants continue to evaluate moves into GB4, with further announcements expected in the coming weeks.
