Karting graduate Charlie Myers joins the GB4 Championship for his car racing debut with Arden Motorsport. 

The 16-year-old Silverstone local began karting after a chance indoor karting party with friends sparked his initial interest in racing. He began racing competitively at the age of 13, very quickly managing to climb the ranks of Junior X30.

His career has predominantly been within the UK, including the British Karting Championship as well as rounds of the PFI Club and Whilton Mill Club series more recently. 

While focusing on British competition, he has also raced in Europe in the IAME Benelux Series, and qualified on pole at Le Mans in the Eurocup. 

Charlie has participated in the majority of pre-season testing as he readied himself for the step up to GB4. Despite a lack of experience compared to many of the drivers on this year’s grid, he’s been a regular within the midfield runners, and was 16th quickest on day one at Oulton Park.
